a prosperous one in all ways. Can anyone point me in the direction of an MM with information about Magnesium Silicata? Thanks much...my situation is pretty much the same as below..... Hi Sati,
The only place I find anything about it is in Scholten's "Hy and the Elements". Here's what I read (hand-typed, so may be messy and may edit...): "A Brave Image" Mag-sil is also a new remedy. In the short time that I have been using it, it has proved to be very useful for teenagers who try to keep up a brave front by playing the tough guy. Concepts Magnesium Silicatum Uncertain relationships Image Aggression Relations, family Pacifism Family-image Excluded Father Home At home Timid Stubborn Pointed Family-minded Group Analysis The aggressive, tough image the image of the pacifist angry about separation quarrels at home quarrels with father excluded from the familyh pacifism and timidity aggresssive and sharp Picture of Mag-sil: Essence: The image of the aggressive, tough boy The aggressive, tough boy: They like to rpesent an image of being tough. They want to be a leader and impress people with their bravery. They love to show the world how aggressive and daring thy are. So they do all sorts of dangerous things, like driving too fast, daring stunts on skateboards, taunting their teachers, stealing from shops. All with an air of, 'this is nothing, wait until you see the rest'. Their weak side remains cvarefully hidden; nobody is allowed to see this. The image of the pacifist: Another variation is the image of the lover of peace. They like to be known as the peace maker. they can't bear agtression, they can't watch violence on TV for instance. They don't wan tot know about their own aggressive side either. So they like to be known as a peace lover, but not somebody who is afraid of violence. This kind of attitude may be formed in someone who is brought up in a family where nobody ever quarreled, because it was "not the done thing". quarrels at home: The situation at home is often one of frequent quarrels between the parents or between the parents and te children. This atmosphere makes them feel very insecure to the extent where they start worrying about everything being said, in case it results in another row, or even worse, in divorce. They get so upset and angry about all this that they wil do anything to try and stop it. They often vent their anger on outsiders, esp. outsiders who cause strife and unrest within the family. *************** Hey Sati, my fingers are tired! :-) There's another two pages, so I'm going to edit that heavily. (Maybe at some point I can figure out how to use our new *scanner*, but not this morning!) Quarrels with the father: ... maybe the person w/whom they have a partic quarrel; ... feel as if they have lost their solid base in life. Or may be v gd relat w/father, but they feel they ahve to show tough side to outside world bec nobody except fa is allowed to see their warmer and vulnerable side... Aggressive and sharp: So we smtms only see their aggressive side & sharp tongue... Hate contradiction and quite capable of teasing and taunting... Pacifism & timidity: The other side is the timid pacifist... easygoing and friendly, refined and delicate, aristocratic and artistic. Expresion: fears - aggression, cricitism abandoned, disease, death... .... mood: refined, delicate, aristocratic, artistic obsesssive, nail biting, suppressed emotions .... Does that help? Later I'll see if I can figure out how to scan... Good luck to you! :-) Shannon On Jan 6, 2007, at 1:01 AM, Sati wrote: > Hello dear friends, I do hope the New Year finds you all well and that > it's a prosperous one in all ways. > Can anyone point me in the direction of an MM with information about > Magnesium Silicata? > Thanks much...my situation is pretty much the same as below..... > Bless You, > Sati > ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sati" <Sati (AT) prodigy (DOT) net> > To: <homeopathy (AT) homeolist (DOT) com> > Sent: Saturday, June 25, 2005 6:36 PM > Subject: RE: [H] Magnesium Silicata > > >> >> Hello Friends, >> My MM does not have any information on the above remedy (Magnesium >> Silicata) >> and I cannot find anything online about it either. Dear Friends,
I received this very sad reply to my request from "Ken Salls" (whoever he is, or thinks he is...). It speaks for itself. In the meantime, my sincere thanks to all who replied so kindly to my request with the information on Mag.Sil. I did try 'Googling' and was unable to come up with much. My son's quality of life may depend upon this remedy, I can't tell you how much it means to me to have access to all you good people and your vast experience and knowledge. Bless you all for just being there.... Look for Jan Scholtens work. at alonnissos.org.
in Referenceworks he says. Please do not share this work as it is copyright to him. Melanie 'A brave image' Magnesium silicatum is also a new remedy. Hi Sati,
join the crowd of those who have received Ken's "kindly" letters. With mails like this the only way is to ignore. Even putting up a filter is too much trouble;-) Regards and all the best to you and your son. Hi Melanie,
Do you mean that I shouldn't have posted that excerpt? In the past I have asked about this issue, and had been told that it's quite alright to post small excerpts, with accreditation. I would think this sort of excerpt-posting is very much to the best interests of the author, as it gives people a chance to see what the material is like, and to realize how nicely it fills in gaps in the existing materia medica. What's your understanding of the matter? Thanks, Shannon On Jan 7, 2007, at 10:33 AM, Melanie Grimes wrote: > Look for Jan Scholtens work. at alonnissos.org. > in Referenceworks he says. > Please do not share this work as it is copyright to him. > Melanie > > > 'A brave image' > Magnesium silicatum is also a new remedy. There is a fair use exception to the copyright laws that covers your use and
similar uses - it is legal to post small excerpts, and it is morally sound - knowledge should not be owned by anyone and copyright laws have been so strengthened by large corporate owners it is unethical - creators, such as Scholten, under even modest copyright laws have protection of their creative output ... -----Original Message----- From: homeopathy-bounces (AT) homeolist (DOT) com [mailto:homeopathy-bounces (AT) homeolist (DOT) com] On Behalf Of Robert & Shannon Nelson Sent: Monday, January 08, 2007 12:40 AM To: homeopathy (AT) homeolist (DOT) com Subject: Re: [H] Magnesium Silicata/second request Hi Melanie, Do you mean that I shouldn't have posted that excerpt? I meant not to pass it on without permission.
Posting is not the problem I was addressing. It was re-posting. Thanks for clarifying. Thank you Wim! I did obtain an LM1 Mag-sil from the Hahnemann Pharmacy in
