In defense of placebo- I read it was effective 1/3 of the time. Makes me wonder why we don't try it first....; )

Why no placebo first?

1. I don't find that those placebo results are deep cures, just
temporary amelioration, helping to get over some acute state, or one
of those short-lived "energy boosts."

2. A good homeopath should have better effectiveness than 33%, for
either acute or chronic conditions.
