Why no placebo first?
1. I don't find that those placebo results are deep cures, just temporary amelioration, helping to get over some acute state, or one of those short-lived "energy boosts." 2. A good homeopath should have better effectiveness than 33%, for either acute or chronic conditions. -- John Ourant On Nov 30, 2006, at 9:31 PM, krystina hindley wrote: > >> They are on break >> So far mumbo jumbo from Fisher as well as Goldacre >> Nothing clear for the audience >> And Fisher just said placebo affect works for children and infants >> as they >> want to please their parents and same for pets >> How wonderful that he represents us. > > In defense of placebo- I read it was effective 1/3 of the time. > Makes me wonder why we don't try it first....; ) > Krystina |
