Dear Dr Agarwala
No it is not on line nor is it free. I have a printed version of it copied from my class of 1996. It is several pages long, printed in Hindi and english with Kents ref. pages under each question. Perhaps someone does have an on line version,it is the best casetaking questioneer i have ever used. GT

Greetings,
While I was browsing for the bookmarked material for uploading to my website, I saw this book in my mouldy library - A 1990 reprint I purchased in 1992 : " SYNOPTIC MEMORIZER OF MATERIA MEDICA " by Dr. Subrata Kumar Banerjea. This book includes Regional and Drug-wise Oral and Theoretical Questionaires and Memorising Tips on Drug totality By spelling it out, I learn when to select SULPHUR. S : Standing is the worst position U : Uncommon peculiarity is : though a hot patient, yet aversion to both. L : Leader of burners ; Nash trio of burning. Philosophical mania; even rags seem beautuful; ragged philosopher. P: Hungery at 11.00 AM U : Urine and Stools painful to parts over which it passes acrid and excoriating, whenever they touch. R : Redness of all orifices With regards Lew |

Dear Dr. Leela
Off hand i remember mostly; Allens Key Notes And Characteristics with comparisons of some of the leading remedies of the materia medica with nosodes. William Boericke Materia Medica and repertory Organon of medicine 5th and 6th edition. Dr. Banerjea has such a photographic memory for every line/word/phrase in each and all of these 3 books, the students had to look up everything while he from memory resided the verses. Yes Dr. Lew Dr. S.K. Banerjea has written many books, the one's on miasms are some of my favorites. His book on Anatomy has funny simple line drawings for the bodyparts/organs/systems.................... His Materia Medica books have simple methods like the 'spelling of the remedy' indicated to help you remember the quality of each remedy. GT

many many thanks for the reply. I do have this printed version (purchased). I was looking for an e-version (free or for sale) to put on my laptop. yes, I too have come to the conclusion that this is the best case taking questionnaire. I arrived at this conclusion after comparing many other questionnaires. first - I prefer the path shown by dr. frederik schroyens for case taking and then if needed I use dr. vijayakar's approach as second step. I do not believe in handing out questionnaires to patients and only as a third step (if case already not very clear) - may directly ask questions from dr. banerjea's list. there are many views and methods for everything in homoeopathy. I devoted the last few years to try and test many methods and finally stick to one/few that worked best for casetaking, posology, materia medica/selection of similimum and case management. I found that NO one school of homeopathic thought has all perfect in there. I have taken something from here and something from there. at some point of time in future, I have a deep desire to hold FREE public seminars (for public and health-care professionals) in UK with video recorded cases. if we homeopaths, could reach at some consensus and move together as a whole ('synthesis'!!!) then surely we can not only treat and expect to get better (and sure-shot) results but, we will also be able to prove the merits of this wonderful system of healing to others. I shall humbly try to do whatever I can to uphold homeopathy as a SCIENCE (and not religion/philosophy/system of belief) and will put my views across alongwith conclusive evidence. the facts will speak for themselves. I shall also try to put up a website where homeopaths from all over the world may be able to refer their unsolved case to a me and a board of very experienced homeopaths for opinion. let's see - how things move... many many thanks for always responding to my posts with so much warmth and kindness! I guess, I will have to ask my staff to type this dr. banerjea's questionnaire for me! I also wanted dr. mosrrison's desktop guide on my laptop but, only macrep has it and so either I buy macrep (I have radar and plan to buy isis vision) or I get the whole book typed for personal use! let me see... take care and be very happy, dr. manish agarwala |

Hi,
Morrison's desk reference (pathology ) is on EH, and when I combine that with Prisima/phatak I find I have a good shorthand guide to remedies. beth ----- Original Message ----- From: <homeolist (AT) otherhealth (DOT) com> To: <homeopathy (AT) homeolist (DOT) com> Sent: Friday, November 17, 2006 1:41 AM Subject: [H] Re: dr.subrata banerjea-case taking > > Gina;73469 Wrote: > > Dear Dr Agarwala > > No it is not on line nor is it free. Gina, I searched, but I haven't found Subrata Banerjee's books either at BJain or Minimum.com.
Could you check and tell me - otherwise if you have any direct contact - i've been trying to get hold of them for quite some time. thanks, Leela Quote:
