So far - I am stuck at Mind - Concentration - difficult (with it's specifics) , Mind-Comprehension - difficult (which is under dullness - not a good fit at all), Mind - Inconsistant etc. Since so many of you have experience with individuals diagnosed with ADD - I was hoping you may have located more appropriate rubrics. Or perhaps you might suggest remedies that I should put on my 'must read' list. Thank you in advance. Donna |

You should try to get deeper. Which subject can he focus on and which not. Is he lazy, is is dullness, is it a mental problem, is it ennui etc? There are many remedies and your rubrics are too general and therefore you need to see what is behind

Mose,
Thank you. This question was only to ask for rubric assistance concerning one very specific aspect of a full case. This single aspect is of course only one small part of the total picture. And of course, the 'deeper' questions lead to other aspects of the case. I asked the list for assistance since they represent a wealth of experience and variety of training. Often someone has brilliantly deducted - or stumbled across - an alternate wording or concept, or has found a poorly represented but interesting possibility that can inspire better reping, reading and remedy selection for an individual. I am curious that you seem to dismiss a rubric that is 'too general'. A few well selected general rubrics can be wonderful tools when using Radar. > [Original Message] > From: <homeolist (AT) otherhealth (DOT) com> > To: <homeopathy (AT) homeolist (DOT) com> > Date: 2/15/2006 1:14:31 PM > Subject: [H] Re: Mental Focus - Rubric help request > > > You should try to get deeper. I would say, not knowing any of the particulars, that this is not
necessarily pathology. Don't we get to choose what we want to focus on and what not? With this in mind, I would try to discover if the patient only focuses on one thing (ever) or one thing at a time. If there is only one thing ever, then that may be obsession and you will need to prepare yourself for a possibly long case.
