Dolisos/Boiron produce a thyroidinum (sarcode) derived from porcine
(pig) thyroid , but as far as I'm aware it has no proving, unlike the original sheep thyroidinum mentioned in Boericke etc. It works pretty well as an intercurrent for various thyroid conditions depending upon the potency used and has been used alone for these things although it's obviously not strictly homeopathic when used like this. thank you, robert.
..a friend is about to take the crude form of a ground pig's throid for her hypothyroidism. this has worked quite effectively for another person she knows. so altho thyroidium may not be totally homeopathic it's many notches beyond taking the crude form . best, bonnie |

i don't know--is it?
My mother's problems have seemed to respond better to crude substance (first Synthroid and then Armour) than to thyroidinum 6x. There have been so many complicating factors in her case that I can't make any clear and definite summary, but we have tried all sorts of combinations (and still looking for the needed overall remedy) and she really seems to need that "crude" dose. I think it will vary, depending on the person and etc. So I would say--sure *try* the homeopathic version, but don't be too proud or "purist" to use the "regular" version if needed--a functioning thyroid gland is *awfully* important!!! Best, Joy she doesn't want to have her case taken. too bad for her. but she does believe that this pigs thyroid helped her friend. so i am interested in learning about the remedy. best,' bonnie |

BRoten1721@aol.com,
Its Better to convince her.I am giving one example: If we will get choice food prepared and supplied in low price and in time why we will take pain to cook in our own home?Like that our body.If we will supply the required hormone to our body why our body will try to produce hormone? Its said that"use it or lose it".So convince her to consult a good homoeopath who can take her case and there are several remedies (as per symptom)which can give relief to her as homoeoapthy treats the patient(wholistic)which can help to get relief from dysfunction of thyroid. Hope to see her cured.
