Default Pregnancy and flight travel

Hi Group

Is it advisable to pt to travel too and fro during the 5th mnt of pregnancy in a plane. One of my pt want to come to India for a function and return in 15 days the flight will take 3 hrs. She had pain and all when she found she is pregnant and the first scan was not clear and now it is ok ( 3rd mnt) there is heart beat and all but there is a very small cyst on myometrum. The doc seeing the first scan was not sure the physical changes are due to pregnancy or the growth so she had to hurry for the second scan.

If there are no complications in the pregnancy flight travel is considered safe before 36th week of pregnancy. Especially if the duration of the flight is lower than 5 hours. Flight company may have special rules, so check with them.
