I remember reading about a remedy..the symptoms were...if a child is crying and the parent after listening to the crying want to soothe the child and love it ..then it is a symptom of CHAMOMILLA..however if the parent after listening to the crying want to beat him to quieten the child then the remedy is (I can't remember the name ..)

The parent wishes to soothe the Pulsatilla child and spank the Chamomilla baby who is simply being obnoxious and cannot be quieted no matter what they do and always worse from thouch. Pulsatilla child is beter with consolation, beter with hugs and attention. The text you may be refering to is Homoeopathic medicine for children and infants by Dana Ullman, pg211.

I have heard it differently:

In the first case, where they want to love the child, it is Pulsatilla.

Where they feel like spanking him it is Chamomille.
