Default How Calendula cured my bike!

Friends,

During Labor Day weekend, I was one of the 50,000 or so people in the high desert of Nevada attending the Burning Man Festival (yes...it was even more fabulous than the very positive media reports made it out to be!). Most people get around on a bike, and as it turned out, my bike developed an awful sweek in the handle bars. Although I didn't have any bike oil with me, I did have some Calendula Spray...which I used to a great benefit. I'm amazed at the many uses of Calendula and Calendula Spray.

Dear Dana
Were you a visitor there or volunteering your homeopathy in the medical tent?
Just wondering because last year i sent an email asking them if they wanted my help regard a volunteer homeopath for their medical emergencytent, they said no.
Dont think they knew what homeopathy was capable of doing in emergency ailments.

Congratulations, you demonstrated homeopathy works!
But we want to be sure you treated the whole bike and not only the handles.
No "this for that" prescribing!

Spray every remedy you have on your bike and please give us the results..
This is a unique possibility to prove the article in "The Lancet" was a
mistake.

Dear Hans,

You're right! I prescribed a "drainage" remedy, rather than a constitutional one, to my bike.

But I wonder about my combination lock for the bike. Is it proper to give it a "combination" remedy because it is a combination lock? Would that make it its constitutional remedy?

Curious minds want to know...

It is well known that subtle energies have the power to modified/transform every thing in the physical world. Homeopathic remedies with their subtle energy properties might also bring about changes in "inanimate" objects if appropriately applied.

I know Hans' remark was all tongue-in-cheek. So here is another ...

Would it help in a puncture? That would really be something.

Well it should do because Calendula promotes scar tissue but Ledum is best for *punctures* :-)

Best wishes, Joy

But what would we use--ledum for the "puncture" aspect, or phosphoric acid because the tire is feeling so "flat"?

:-)
