Default Psychology and Homeopathy ( personal ? no Homeopathic contentto speak of.

Hey List, I am taking a Intro to Psychology class at the local University, and possibly a few more next semester. So i thought i would see if any of the over educated folks here, had any keen insights into what might be the most complementary area's of Psychology to my Homeopathic education. For example which of the 55 APA divisions would peak your homeopathic curiosity. I would welcome any suggestions encouragement or even debate about if its It'a waste of time when i could be reading Dunham or worshiping Sam Hahnemann, I personally don,t think it is as i have enjoyed Psyche and Substance by Edgar Whitmont and Phillip Baileys stuff . Just fishing for inspiration or ideas. If anyone wonders why I haven't posted here lately, two reasons i have been out enjoying summer and i can,t look at the list without missing JW and wishing he was still here to criticize my written English. Just e-mail me privately.

Thanks
Mike Law

passkey has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default Have to admit

that I worship Jung and that a number of cases in my past have been resolved by psychological means rather than homeopathy.

two case stick in my mind .
One of an anal fissure in a young (29) woman who had a high powered job , and an unemployed lover . I discussed her lifestyle with her and , on finding that she had a very great interest in art , suggested that she devote a few hours at the week end to painting.

I also prescribed Silica in various potencies .

When she contacted me almost a month later I was pleased that the anal fissure had healed . I was also amused to find that she had NOT taken my pills .

Another case involved a young hairdresser who had the disturbing habit of cuttung her wrists with a razor blade.
She was passionately interested in Art History , but as she had no certificates of education thought she could not take any courses .
I was able to point her at the Open University and the last I heard she was fine.

Yes a knowledge of Psychology can help people - because often there is a stress factor that homeopathy cannot cope with -- and which can kill.
