Default VCCH enquiry

Dear All,

I am interested in homeopathic education options in Australia and came across the Victorian College of Classical Homeopathy run by Grant Bentley N.D., Dip Hom., Dip C.H., Dip. Psych. Th., AROH (reg) AHA (prof memb) as the principal and senior lecturer.

Does anyone happen to have any information/opinion on this course other than its official website gives? Are there any graduates on this list?

Any feedback anyone can share would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Sasha.

Sasha,

The college is recognised by the Australian Homeopathic association, but as yet does not have government accreditation for its course.
This means that its fees are lower than the other colleges, but if you are after a "classical" education this may be for you.
They do not teach the health sciences required by the AHA (or for their diploma)and you will have to do them by correspondence or at one of the bigger colleges, so factor that in to your time and costing.

Dear List,

Some time ago there was an enquiry on the list about VCCH college in Melbourne. I have now been sent a reply from the Principal of that college who has asked that I post this notice for your information.

"The Victorian College of Classical Homoeopathy is closing down its undergraduate program as of 2005, and will be concentrating on post graduate training including seminars (Wellington, New Zealand Sept 17/18 will be the next) and live clinics to be held in Melbourne. With the principal Grant Bentley (author of Appearance and Circumstance) the college will be continuing to develop its research into facial diagnosis as part of choosing homoeopathic remedies. There are some cases on their website to show how facial analysis aids in finding accurate remedy choices and more cases will be posted on a regular basis. Have a look at www.vcch.org under miasm research."

Regards
