My wonderful European H (Christine Morris) told me that 200K, which she used in treating me, means that the remedy has been prepared according to the Korsakovian method. I believe that means emptying the vial and letting what clings to the glass be sufficient for the next dil/suc. in lieu of the Hahnemannian drop method.
I also heard somewhere that in Europe when it is not K it is labeled CH meaning c potency prepared in the Hahnemannian fashion. I may not have understood well and am open to be corrected on this (or any) point. Also, I wonder whether JW would not have said that it should be a capital upper case) K since it comes from the proper name. As a proof-reader/copy-editor, I was told that he ruled that c should be lower case as it represents centesimal, not a proper name. I think on French remedies it has a capital CH, though. If anyone is interested, I can look at a tube and see. Teresa in VA |
