Default Potentiziing a medication

I would like to prepare a potentized solution of a medication for someone who has had a bad reaction to that medication. Can anyone help me with preparation instructions? My memory is not perfect with regard to this process, but my thought is to take one part of the medication and grind (triturate) it with 99 parts of milk sugar then take one part of that and triturate it again with 99 parts of milk sugar and then do it once more for a 3c preparation.

Then I believe I can up the potency using liquid at this point but I'm not sure how to do that. How much of the triturated powder should I dissolve in water before upping the potency by dilution and succussion? Or do I have this completely wrong and have to go about it another way?

Also, how long do I need to triturate at each step and how many succussions should I do when I get to that point?

I assume I can get milk sugar at the homeopathic pharmacies? Right?

Thanks for any help.

Karen

This is described in detail in the Organon.
You can purchase milk sugar from the pharmacies, or use water dilution method, with alcohol for stabilization.
