Hi,
Which remedy of the followings will be a good preventive against Tetanus (if at all): Chlostridium Tetani or Tetanotoxinum? Which potency should be preferred? The remedia online catalog says that these remedies are the same, but I doubt it. (Tetanus= Chlostridium Tetani = Tetanotoxinum ). What do you think? TIA Rafy |

I don't know about prevention, apart from not getting the puncture wound in the first place
So, when an accident happens, we use hypericum or ledum, depending on the symptoms. We have pet rats, so have to deal with bites regularly, along with the usual domestic injuries... Hope this helps Caroline :-) |

The only reasonable prevention is to be strong enough [vitality] to throw off the illness. This means that prior to being bitten , one has so strengthened the vitality by constitutional means , that it is able to deal with any problem.
As Clarke pointed out - using V Grauvogl's words - " From the same cause , on the same day , and indeed in the very same hour , one may get a syphilitic ulcer, one a sycotic ulcer and one escape without any infection". Thr point being that there is a predisposition involved in any infection. |
