If a patient comes in with an ailment and a remedy is prescribed that removes the ailment, I call that a cure. If s/he comes back later with the same ailment, I presume that s/he is reinfected or the ailment has returned because the patient's lifestyle has not changed - ie if he is living in a damp basement which gave him rhumatism and goes back to live there, he is bound to get it again. The answer would be to ask him to live elsewhere, but if he cannot do that, the remedy will have to be repeated and repeated (with the damp basement in mind - which may suggest another remedy) until his immune system becomes robust enough to counter the rhumatism.
If the patient returns with another ailment, well it is a different ailment and so will have to be addressed as such. No one says that if once cured with homeopathy, the patient will never get another ailment for the rest of his life.

In every patient to treat ,there are two components.1 manifesting symptoms-totality . 2nd component TENDENCY(MIASM).As long as tendency wont become dormant ,symptoms keep on relapsing.As and when same symptoms relapse one may have to repeat the same remedy,when dyanamic level changes one may have to change the potency this goes on till manifesting tendency (miasm ) becomes dormant .After some time person develops some other set of symptoms(new totality) one has to prescribe new remedy .No body becomes permanently free from disease symptoms through out one's life time .If some thing goes ,some thing will apear depending on his inheritence and mode of living.
ONLY IMPORTANT IS ,DISEASE SHOULD NOT GET COMPLICATED ie moving from lesser important organ to more important organ bringing down the VITAL ENERGY of person.

I have Reservations about this. It seems a bit naive to me. The symptoms arise from a flaw in the vitality/energy sphere . If that is not dealt with then to remove the "symptoms " homeopathically is no better than an allopath suppressing the symptoms, driving them inwards . The body in a self preservative mode responds by throwing the the symptom back to the surface again. This was not a TRUE cure.
