I need your help for my daughter , 10 years old.

1 week ago , she had high fever and cough , then followed by eruption on skin , like urticaria ( hives ) which is very itching and burning for her. The eruption started from legs upward even to face , it subside , become less during daytime.But worse at night , especially lying on bed during sleep .( 11pm to 1 pm ); in cold room. Worse scraching (more appearing). At the same time , dry hacking cough preventing her from sleep; not much phlegm ; continued cough till feel breathless. Have mild asthma last year. Cough feel better sitting up from bed. No complaint of thirst. Tongue : white coated with red edges. She feel fine during daytime. Presently , the weather is dry and hot. She looks thin and dark complexion. Skin dry. Easily irritated and angry. Cannot tolerate pain well.

Remedy taken : Merc Sol, Pulsatilla which help a bit , especially cut off the fever.

Is RUMEX close similar to it ???

Please recommeding your remedies or any suggestion. ..

Oleum jecoris aselli. Most probably it may restore the fever and if you
don't
suppress it again, the cough will slowly disappear. You may even use it in
crude form,
nightly rubbing it on her skin.

The next best is sang which covers the following symptoms.
COUGH - DRY - lying, while
COUGH - DRY - sitting, while - amel.
COUGH - DRY - sleep - disturbing
COUGH - DRY - spasmodic, exhausting cough especially in children - night
lying down and going to cold room to sleep

I treated something a bit similar years ago with Psorinum 200. One dose did the trick.

My daughter feel much relieved , less cough & hives last night , after given
Arsernicum Alb. 6C . ; sleep better. Today still given her the same remedy
for 2 doses because the cough not clear yet ; not much hives. However the
cough become loose with thick lump yellow phlegms. Will see how she feel
tonight ....
