Default STREPTOCOCCUS A

Hi,

A patient (50y) with a very low vitality and a chronic glomerulonephritis (after a strep throat infection) asks me this question that I address to you:

Can me nephew (7y) who recently has a verified STREPTOCOCCUS A in his throat (whithout any symptoms on him), come and stay and live with me for a month? Do I have any danger from him? Can I be infected and become ill?

TIA

Rafy

Yeah, but viruses can float on dust particles, so it's invariably yes from just breathing. What did you tell him or her?
