Default painful calves --" Leg Cramp"

hi,

Does anyone hve any experience or advice in treating an old woman with painful calves, called " Leg Cramps"?

For several years she have been getting bad leg cramps early in the morning while still asleep and while and after waking from sleep, and the pain continues when she gets up and remains very painful when she tries to walk and while walking.

IT lasts hours every day.

The pain has a crampin quality. I gave her Mag-p 6x trit. as a schussler salt- with no help.

TIA

rafy

Can you be more specific, is it restless legs (nerves), lack of blood flow to the leg as this is important to select the remedy
As she is old it would point to Bar-C, restless legs is Zinc

The Question:"Does anyone have any experience or advice in treating an old woman with painful calves, called " Leg Cramps"?--------------------------------

My reply;
90% of the time this is related to loss of magnesium in the system.
Each patient needs specifics in MLG of Magnesium supplm (not talking about homeopathic mag)
According to depletion and according to the patients weight the MLG needs to be adjusted.
Magnesium needs to be taken DAILY-in suppml form or in proper Magnesium Food groups.
Many times this depletion of Magnesium comes from an iatrogenic sourse. Meaning from allopathic (its a side effect)prescription meds.Not always.Sometimes its from lack of proper eating habits,not enought nutrients/vitamins.

Mag-Phos 30C before bed for 5 days. This helped my friend.
He now takes the remedy as and when required when wakes up (rarely)
