Has anyone had experience using Lathyrus sativus in the situation of
problems of lower extremities? Have a case of an 80 year old lady. After a fall (fractured pelvis healed very well with remedies) she has had continuous back pain (from old injuries and terrible recent manhandling by hospital staff) and lately the symptoms converged to the picture of Lathyrus sativus. Previously she responded very well to remedies, but they would not hold more than a day or two. She is doing nicely on the Lathyrus but it is very slow. I started her on 30c (aqueous) and there was immediate improvement. She was thrilled. Physical therapist could not believe the improvement. After two weeks (with two repeats) the improvements of gait and tremor have held, but not progressed further. Of course there are other factors at work during this time including heavy rains, new physical therapist, new heavier exercises, as well as economic upsets - her home needed emergency re-wiring after being hit by lightning. She is now VERY impatient and wants to move up the potencies without waiting. I am unfamiliar with the pace of this remedy and would appreciate input. Thank you. Donna D C Rona, PhD, ND, DHM |
