Default eye injury

Hi

My friend got hit on his right eyeball with a fast shot of tennis ball. He was playing cricket then.
I suggested our routine to him.
Instead, he yesterday went to an ophthalmologist who diagnosed a swelling, suggested a possible clotting/retinal detachment and gave an eyedrop with instruction to return in a week for checkup. The doctor is of the opinion that effects of injury may show after some time.
There is very little discomfort and some blurriness with vision. Redness is practically gone now.

I would like to know from your experience whether with our mode of treatment fears expressed by the doctor can be dispelled and can we reassure the patient.

Please share your experience.

Regards

Ram

Default Re: eye injury

in case of injury of the eye, symphytum officinalis 30c; it's the eye's arnica.
