Default case suggestion

this woman has the feeling of being 'stuck' ...she wants to die (NOT suicidal). she is done with this earth plane and wants to return.
she has fear of suffocation. panic attacks .which is worse in crowds or being alone...better with company she can trust. great sensitivity to injustice.
she is 48 y.o. . she was a cyanotic baby at delivery. she got 'stuck' in the birth canal and had to be removed by forceps.
i've researched sankarans themes of 'stuck' (i 've had success with his work) but nothing clicked. the well known remedies for cyanotic
babies don't seem right (carb v, laur. , etc).
in the past she has done well with staphysagria, causticum and puls.
i may repeat pulsatilla because it is used successfully to turn babies if they are presenting not head first, but i don't know if this is why she was 'stuck' at birth.

any comments from your experience is appreciated.

thanks,
bonnie

Hi,

The first remedy that comes to my mind for babies born of forceps delivery
is Hyper. Well my gut feeling on reading your case seems to be Ratanhia.
Here is what I found mentioned in Radar keynotes for rat:
Mind - Sensitive, easily overturned with stress. - Closed person with apprehension and fear. - Anxiety about members of the family. Ailments from cares. - Fear of death. Fear something will happen when alone, relieved by conversation. - Superstitious. Fear something bad is going to happen to himself or his family, if he doesn't do something properly. - COMPULSIVE NEUROSIS. Religious insanity. Generalities - agg. Night, touch, exertion..

Just a few thoughts.

Hi Bonnie,
Do you have any information about what things she loves, or would love
to do / be, things that she values, esp? She is sensitive to
injustice: IS there any more about that--what situations bring it up
for her, and what feelings and impulses it brings out--and e.g. does
she want to help the victim, or punish the aggressor, or escape the
situation entirely, or ??

An interesting thought--I hadn't had any familiarity with the mentals
of this remedy. Can you say what brought it to your mind for this
one?

Ah, that's an interesting whole other aspect!!

Well, a possibility that might be worth looking at is lac maternum,
with its issues around "incarnation"? What I think brought that to my
mind, is a person I've been unsuccessfully chasing a remedy for for
*years* (a friend), who's in the past talked about something like a
"stuck" feeling prominent (tho in her case there was nothing in the
birth to suggest why), and she's currently doing surprisingly well on
lac humanum, with lac maternum appearing to lurk close by in the
background. (There seem to be more lac mat. sxs in her past, but more
lac-h in her present, so we began there.)

They're interesting remedies... This person also has extreme
oversensitivity to others' pains (tho she did not specifically express
it as "injustice") and a long-time wish that sounds similar to what you
describe below. Well, this is only a hesitant thought, and I'll be
very interested to hear what works out!

Hi,
The correspondence of her mentals with that of MM
in the Radar Keynotes and also the theory of correspondences
somewhere in Kent's writings.

It's in Murphy.

From the Proving:

MIND - Everything is out of balance. Perception seems to have altered, which makes everything different. Feels distant and separated from things. Feeling spacey, lightheaded. Feeling of expansiveness. Unreality feeling like after taking drugs. As if in a dream. Distortion of reality. Everything seemed a long way away. Confusion of identity.
Feeling weepy and vulnerable. Insecurity and self doubt. During the full moon felt low and depressed. Thoughts of death and suicide. Sensation of being larger. Sensation of being smaller than normal. Felt distant and detached. Indifference to husband. Felt emotionally numb and unable to respond, as if I wasn't there. Indifference, despair and hopelessness, no way out. Apathetic. A feeling of boredom and depression. Deep sighing with sense of resignation. I feel I can't cope.
As after a fright. Angry mood and very irritable.

-> Depressed like seeing a window open and unable to go through it. <-

Strong alternations of moods, high then low. Suicidal tendency, desire to jump from a high building or cut wrist. Religious. Desire to reorganize the house. Overwhelming desire to be in the country.

COMMENTS - I looked at the clock. I think it was about an hour clock time. Time is different on this level, its moving very quickly. A lifetime is a very short space of time. My whole time scale has changed since taking the remedy, I've lost a lot of boundaries on time. Don't hurry, just do things in my own time. It seems as if all the days became one. Confused about what happened when and where, about what happened in the past. I was having problems assimilating the notion of time, outside time seemed beyond description. I Couldn't differentiate between backwards and forwards in time. Felt I had got stuck in time.
