JV, I tried that baking soda and it works like a dream.
Nothing, no commercial preparation of aluminuim or anything has ever worked so well. Wunderbar!
Thank you extremely much.
A more fragrant summer ahead....ahhhh

Hey, I think the zinc oxide would be suppressive - it's the nature of zinc. But I am not going to give up on Bicarbonate of Soda because I think it most likely works, not by suppression, but by making the skin alkaline which stops the skin bacteria getting to work on the sweat.

Lisa, I'm looking forward to that doggy behaviour moment, but what will John think?

This could be major : bicarb enables us to control men, not just niff.
I just gave up being a homoeopath and am seeking the patent.

Pleased to confirm that the Bicarbonate of Soda is not suppressive as I am still dripping with sweat, but it doens't smell.

Has anyone out there tried it yet?

Dear Anna - I tried the Bicarb today!!! Worked like a charm! Can't believe it - there it was, all these years - sitting in my cupboard!! Amazing - and it doesn't cost hardly anything!

No smell. Hardly any sweat!! (it IS 42Celcius out here, today...so I guess a little sweat is going to happen, but I DID NOT HAVE ANY ODOUR!! Whatsoever !!)

Also, I asked GM in an email yesterday about the suppression -he said it is probably okay to use the Bicarb. And, since I did sweat today, when my body needed to - I can't see how it is suppressing anything, so I think the answer is, "It's okay!"

Lisa
