Hi all..
I started on Sepia, 1 dose 1M on April 1.
At first there appeared to be some slight lessening of symptoms, then yesterday (April 11,) I am sneezing and sneezing!! Go into sneezing fit about every half hour. Feel awful, insides of nasal passages feel tickling and burning. Lots of clear mucus. Was kind of yellow/green this am...very slight, now clear again. Some blood in mucus now and then.
Ears slightly stopped up. Eyes itch. Lids a little swollen.
Maybe aggravations, or just a cold?
Concern here is the initial lessening of symptoms then POW! 9-10 days later feeling like the feather and sandpaper queen.
Any insight?

depends wheter its old reocurring symptome, ( then its ok) or new ones, could then be signal of wrong remedy, or a new acute situasion that reaq a intercurrent acute remedy.
It point more to a axcute, drosera, use a dose c12. or Sabadilla, try sabadilla c12, think its the one.

I used to get colds very easily until I started dosing myself with Vitamin C some years ago. Often times my colds would start out with sneezing for a day then quicky that would end and the other symptoms start. I've never sneezed this bad (for this long) that I can remember...forget... it has been awhile. Last 10 years have always immediatly mega-dosed with Vitamin C (5000 to 7000 milligrams)...and that ended the colds relatively well.
I have avoided mega-dosing with Vitamin C this time because I don't want to ruin the remedy. I have however, on advice of homeopath been using a pill called EHB. (has various ecchinea components and garlic and some other stuff in it).
Would taking another remedy like what GM suggested cloud the constitutional picture, since I just took the Sepia? I don't want to screw things up.

Noted that a couple times now, mucus was light yellow, not just in am.
looked up Sabadilla and it fits picture very well except...my sore throats always start on Right side. Also noticed that Sabad. is complementary to Sepia according to Broedr.. MM.
Does that make it OKay to take with Sepia??

No Sabidilla available around here, unless I order it. That would take too long, am in misery now. Cold is also working its way towards my chest. Have missed work....can't seem to pay attention to what I am supposed to be doing and no motivation.
Also, potencies available are 9c and 30c.
What about Nat M? That IS available here in 9c and 30c potencies. Have read that is good for colds, starting with sneezing. But needs to be okay with Sepia of course.

if you have any opotence of sab use it, if not, try drosera as a intercurrent till you get sabdilla.

Eureka! I have found Sabadilla 12C available locally. But I have a question....since I have never taken acute remedy before.
There are a number of pellets in the bottle. Do I just take one and one only (for the 12 C)even though directions on bottle say take 3-5 pellets several times a day? How to take??
Need guidance....

As I was taught, one is enough. Some homoeopaths advise two or three pellets in one dose in order to ensure the potentising solution touched the dose taken. Doesn't really matter. Any more than 3 and you're being a sucker for the manufacturers' bumf!
As regards repetition of the dose, do not follow those instructions. After the amelioration from the first dose wait and see if another is needed - which will be clear if your symptoms return. Just like chronic prescribing really.
