Tinnitus is a chronic complaint and is best dealt with by consulting with a professional classical homeopaht who will take a full case history and prescribe a remedy based on yourself as an individual rather than a disease name.

Other than that post more information and someone maybe able to help you.

There is today also electronic help. A hearing aid can produce the opposite phase of the signal that is causing the ringing noise. But also homeopathy can help I am sure.

Mose- when you say electronic device for opposite phase of the signal, do you mean something like "white noise" or the actual other end of the scale.......don't know how to phrase this......if a high pitch is prevelent, a low pitch would be used? What would be used if the pitch/sounds change frequency frequently (not to make a pun!)? Would such a device work when the tinnitis exists in ear that is totally deaf and due to bone calcification can not be helped by a hearing aid? I was surprised to learn that one of the highest suicide rates is with people who suffer tinnitis, perhaps because it is ceaseless, maddening. Very hard to describe the effects to someone who has never experienced it. Do you know the name of the device?

The German Company Siemens have such devices called Tinnitus Control Instrument (TCI) and you can find it under the URL
http://sat.eskatoo.de/e/tinnitus/tinnitus.html.

If this is not working the start URL is WWW. SIEMENS.COM

It depends what has caused the tinnitus eg. scar tissue, nerve damage or idiopathic.
Maskers can be used (look like a hearing aid) but there success rate is not very high, they can make the wearer very withdrawn.
Remedies I have used include Kali iod, thiosin, salicylic ac but none to much avail.
Constitutional treatment does not seem to have any effect either.
I would be interested in hearing others experiences.

I have tinnitis constant in both ears for about 10+ years now and have been using homeopathy for about 14 years. I have improvement in many things but never with this sadly.

Janny, yes, people definitely have been cured of tinitus by homoeopathy. Like all complaints, you need a practitioner who is perceptive enough to see you clearly and knowledgeable enough to prescribe accurately.
