Unhappy Fussy Baby

I have a one-month old baby , who spends sleepless nights crying . Is ok when someone is rocking him in lap, but starts crying as soon as the rocking stops and we put him on his cot. Someone suggested that we go for Camomilla 6 (2 granules). I am a little hesitant considering his age. Can someone advise please ?

Cham. might do the trick, only one pill in water(give only a tiny teaspoon full) Dont give a FEw pills, too much.............................................. .Homeopaths do use other remedies for this problem not only cham.

-------------------------------------------------------------
Next suggestion is not homeopathic:

Also "Aromatheraphy Essential pure oils"----- "Lavender" drops"(DO NOT GET THE FAKE STUFF) It has to be pure essential oil- on the sheet/pillow near the baby. Will enduce sleep/calmness.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Next suggestion is reflexology:
massage the entire bottoms of both feet prior to bedtime, the feet are connected to all the organs in the body (TCM-Traditional Chinese Medicine)do this massage for aprox 10 min each foot-this even works on adults!

Here are a few great websites regards bringing up babies/children using holistic methods of healing

Natural Cures - Holistic Health for People and Animals (big section on homeopathy and children)
Even a comatose child may be administered homoeopathic medicines without injections, that is the beauty of this science. To name some eminently children disorders, where homoeopathy works very well : Infant’s colic, Fever, Teething problems, Vomiting, Dysentery, Nephrotic Syndrome (Kidney disease), Growth related problems, Convulsions (Epilepsy), Infantile Eczema, Jaundice, Brain infections (Meningitis), Fungal infections, Warts, Hair-Loss (Alopecia), Growing pains, Poor concentration, Arthritis in children, Psoriasis, Leucoderma (white spots), Pimples, and Thyroid problems to name a few. Homoeopathy can be proclaimed to be definitely effective, for various emotional disorders occurring commonly in the new generation children of this 20th century. Various psychosomatic disorders such as Bed-wetting, Headaches, and Gastritis respond to homoeopathy. (seek advice via a trained classical homeopath)

Default Fussy Baby

Hi, one of the best informative homeopathic sites I use is Homeopathy for Health, Products, Books, Kits, Remedies. When you log on they have a link to "Educational pages", click on that, then go on the link to Repertory. It gives tons of disorders in alphabetical order and then the different remedies to be used.

My daughter and I have used Chamomile/and Pulsatilla for both her son [now 3] and daughter [15 mo]. We've used these since birth with no ill affects. And they do calm the children considerably. We have also used the cell salt Mag Phos [magnesium phosphate] which calms children and adults.

You might consider logging onto www.nativeremedies.com, they have a lot of informative homeopathic remedies for babies and children. Unfortunately they're a bit expensive to buy...but still not as expensive as taking your baby to a regular doctor.

My grandchildren are ONLY seen by their doctor for weight and height checkups - once in a rarity they get a cold.

What does his age have to do with anything? Ask Anna Bryant to explain to you what's needed to find a medicine. I've already explained it 80 which ways to sundown and am all twisted up doing so. Three or more uncommon symptoms. Find one; find another; find another and keep looking until there aren't any others. Whalla! You then have a remedy for fungus on toadstools. Fancy trick, huh?
