Thumbs up Natural Ways To Reduce Cholesterol

Often times the right information can change a person's life. Read this carefully and I hope it will help you.

Cholesterol is just one of the substances that the body can make on its own. Unfortunately, eating food that is high in oil and saturated fats creates an imbalance. If precautions are not taken now, the chances of a heart attack and other cardiovascular diseases get higher as the person ages.

Cholesterol is classified into two types. The first is called LDL or low-density lipoprotein. This is better known as bad cholesterol and having too much of it can cause problems in the health of an individual.

It is a good thing that the body can counter this with HDL or high-density lipoprotein, which is called good cholesterol. There must a balance between the two so that the heart, blood circulation and all the other systems are working.

The only way for the patient to know the levels in the body is through a blood test. Those who fall within 4.4 to 7.1 have a small chance of experiencing a heart attack. Any figure above that is bad and anything below means the risk are much lower.

The natural way to reduce cholesterol will be to do something physical everyday. A person can do brisk walking every other day while those in between can be working up some sweat in the gym while working on the weight machines.

Studies have shown that getting those muscles to work is much better and safer than taking prescription drugs that are known to have certain side effects when taken. The same goes for the use of food supplements since the human body needs exercise to keep in functioning.

Another natural way will be to eat right. This may mean changing one's eating habits, but the long terms effects are rewarding. The individual will have to cut down on red meat, other oily foods and junk food. This includes bread, cake, candy bars, cookies, French fries and potato chips.

Changing the way food is cooked is also another way to reduce cholesterol naturally. Instead of frying, the person can try steaming, boiling or the quick way of throwing it in the microwave.

There was a time that doctors encourage children and adults to drink milk. Though this can help strengthen the bones as one ages, this too is has certain ingredients that are not safe. This should be changed for soy or non-fat milk that may taste a little different but is much healthier than the old one.

It is strongly encouraged to drink lots of water and natural fruit juice since it also has the properties that can reduce cholesterol just like eating it before it is mixed using the blender.

Unsweetened tea is also safe to drink. It may taste different so mixing a sachet of Equal or Nutrasweet can add some flavoring.

tachycardia, insomnia, vision problems, hearing loss, heart
palpitations, breathing difficulties, anxiety attacks, slurred speech,

According to researchers and physicians studying the adverse effects of
aspartame, the following chronic illnesses can be triggered or worsened
by ingesting of aspartame2)

Homeopathic Podophyllum Peltatum, colchicum autumnale and cholesterinum can bring cholesterol and triglyceride levels back to normal. Consult your homeopath.

Having high cholesterol (fat) is not necessarily bad. People with high cholesterol live longer. When the ratio of good cholesterol (HDL) or heavy density lipids (fat) is up then the the ratio may be good, even though the total cholesterol is high to some standards. It is the ratio of HDL and LDL (low density lipids or fats) that is more important. It ideally is a two to one ratio that is considered healthy. Most cholesterol problems are when the LDL is too high from eating refined sugars and carbohydrates like refined flours, an example is junk food.

A healthy adult human body is 20% fat. It's a crucial and a very busy 20%. After oxygen and water, fat is the next most important component of a healthy fit body. Fat is a critical component of cellular membranes. It is necessary for building healthy cells. Fat is crucial in hormone production and joint librication. Fat provides protection from physical impact, including insulating and paddy your organs. Fat helps to keep blood moving smoothly through the circulatory system. Several crucial vitamins are fat soluble, meaning they are only available to the body if bound to fat. Your body simply cannot function properly without a good supply of fat.

Fat has two functions in the body that are particularly important for achieving and maintaining your ideal health and weight. First the body uses fat to buffer or neutralize acids. Your body needs fat to maintain the blood and extracellular fluids at an ideal pH of 7.365. Providing your body with the right amounts of the right fats will allow the fat to bind with any excess acids and eliminate them from the body. Too much acid causes fat to get stored throughout the body.

One way fat helps to neutralize acid is actually by creating cholesterol. when acids build up in the body it signals the liver to use fat to make cholesterol. The more acidic the body is over the pH level of 7.365 the more cholesterol is produced. Specifically the liver which is responsible for 80% of our cholesterol that we get from our diet accounts for only 20% and makes LDL cholesterol. This is bad cholesterol because it makes up the plaque inside your arteries that can eventually impeded blood flow. The plaque is actually protective saving your arteries from the ravages of acids. Without this cholesterol the acids burn holes right through the arteries throughout your body and you could bleed to death. (This is why taking drugs to lower cholesterol is so dangerous. These drugs also lower the good protective HDL cholesterol) Turns out cholesterol is your friend and when the body makes too much because of wrong diet it is trying to protect you. The real problem is not the cholesterol but the acid in the body caused by wrong diet. Eliminate the acid and you don't have to worry about cholesterol. Not a low fat diet but a diet with good essential fatty acids in it. The link mentioned above also tells you what the good fats are and how to get them.

Homeopathic Podophyllum Peltatum, colchicum autumnale and cholesterinum can bring cholesterol and triglyceride levels back to normal in conjunction with an alkaline diet the cholesterol will stay at a healthy level. These homeopathic remedies clean the liver especially of the wrong fat and balance the fatty acids throughout the body.
