Try the Homeopathy College in Devon...that is who I am studying through and it is very good. I am very pleased with the course materials and the support, thus far!

Try the website www.homeopathyschool.com
I took 6 months before I decided!
Good luck, Lisa

Dear James,
Like Lisa, I can also recommend the Devon School, I studied there and enjoyed the experience. Looking at your profile though, there is also the Welsh School which may be closer to you and is run by a former graduate of the Devon School. It also depends on the way you want to study, one of the advantages to me of the Devon School was the fact that they do an excellent correspondence option in the first & second years if attendance is difficult. Good Luck!

Wherever you go you need to view the course as a framework for your own learning, because the standards everywhere are not what they should be. This is for the simple commercial reason that the schools need to make money so they need to accept all applicants and keep everyone passing the various stages.
If the standards at homoeopathy schools were as the standards for ordinary medical college hardly anyone would qualify who is interested in studying the subject.
I went to the Devon School and found that the best aspect of it was the inspirational character of its principal, Misha Norland. The choice you make depends on what you need personally - be it inspiration, rooting in the subject, support, or whatever.
Just go in with your eyes open to the shortcomings of all the schools and keep up a lot of independent study, would be my advice.

Sorry to hop on your parade here James, but I have a similar question....except looking for schools in the USA.
Also, is distance learning an option?
We're talking over-worked, cash-poor single parent here.
Thanks
Zmyst

Misha Norland runs a correspondence course in the States as well.

Again, try www.homeopathyschool.com, as per Lisa007's suggestion.

The British Institute of Homoeopathy offers distance learning worldwide, along with clinical internships, and accreditation towards the homoeopathic medical association on completion of the practitioner course.
