Every time I visit a homeopathic doctor they chastise me for having used homeopathic remedies without consulting them and make me very aware that it is a system, not a thing from which you can pick and choose remedies. What are your thoughts on this? Are they just trying to save their own profession, or is it dangerous to be experimenting on myself with remedies?

Acute prescribing is often Ok (acute=anything lasting one day to a few weeks) Chronic complex casework is not OK for-"do it yourself". The try this try that method can cause cases to antidote,suppress. Some remedies antidote others,some potencies cancell other potencies of the same remedy.
If you are under care of a homeopath,please tell them he remdies you have taken.
