Candida -- Systemic yeast
Hello everyone!
I was recently diagnosed by ny Naturopath with systemic yeast. She put me on a diet that is basically vegan (except I am allowed to eat fish), with no beans, no sugar, no wheat, and no dairy. The wheat and dairy seem to be the biggest concerns where the yeast is concerned. I am permitted to eat oats. She said that by stopping all wheat and dairy, I will kill the yeast for good. I just wonder if there's something I can add to my diet that will help to kill the yeast off faster.
I have followed this diet faithfully for a month, but I am still seeing a white coating on my tongue. Otherwise, I am feeling much better, with more energy and less bloat than before I began this regime. I had a setback last week, due to a humongous kidney stone. I had to have surgery to insert a stent through the ureter and blast the stone with a laser to get it to pass. I am still recuperating, and I can't wait to have the stent removed on Thursday so I can get back to my exercise routine and life as usual. I can feel where the stent is attached both in my kidney and my bladder, and it's extremely uncomfortable. But I digress.
Does anyone know of something I can add to the diet that will help to speed up the process of killing the yeast?
Thank you for reading!
