I have two children 4.5 & 10 mo. If I give the older one a nosode for measles and she contracts a rash, can she transmit the measles to the 10 month old since he has not been imunized? Any extensive information anyone has on nosodes, I would be interested in reading. Thanks

1.rash is slow to appear, and the chest
is congested with a painful cough. The person’s head hurts when coughing, and
everything feels worse from motion?
2.An extremely itchy rash that feels better from applying heat?
I need to know more

Gary-I am not looking for a remedy. I am just wanting to know about the affects of nosodes. If you have a reaction to a nosode such as a rash, are you contagious to the people around you?

Ricky-Thank you for the information. Do you think it is best to use nosodes when you believe a vaccine has directly caused your problems?

Ricky - Do you have any information that I could download or a book that would be helpful regarding nosodes?

Dorothy- a nosode is a remedy made from a disease product e.g., Tuberculinum is made from tubercular tissue.

I can give the names of books on Bowel nosodes but all the others can be found in the usually MM. However I myself have found precious little on Measles and I have really searched. I know it has a SRP of Fear- from things in the sea because this was a symptom of a patient of mine that had a severe bout of measles 30 years ago and I found it in a rep. Interestingly I cleared her problem using a sea creature remedy Murex!

I'd understood that the one time to use a nosode as a prophylactic (protection/prevention) is when someone close to an unaffected and unimmunised child (the baby in this case)is, or is likely to be, carrying the illness in its active form. This may or may not be a problem with measles, but certainly with the polio immunisation the immunised child sheds the live virus in its bowel movements for some time afterwards (e.g., weeks) -- and this is perhaps the main source of polio occurrences in Westernised countries. Would using the polio nosode on unaffected family members be advised to prevent them getting it?
