I have been treating myself (32 year old male) for these symptoms and need help.
I will present it in order.
Thu noon
Felt chilly and a slight sore throat
Took one dose Nux 30 (didn't have any books here, relied on memory)
By evening developed fever 101 and deep dry cough,
headache while coughing, pulsation of head/heart,
oppressed feeling on chest
Switched to Ars 30 a few doses

Fri
Fever 103, chill, deep cough, tickling in chest,
headache while coughing distressing with sore chest, no expectoration
glands below both ears painful
Head pulsating especially lying down, Tongue and teeth coated tasteless
Rolling eyeballs painful
Referred to online repertory and picked Belladona.
I have been taking Bell 30 since Fri noon.

Sat
Morning
Fever 99, deep cough, tickling in chest,
less headache while coughing but still distressing with sore chest,
no expectoration, glands much reduced, Tongue and teeth coated tasteless
Rolling eyeballs painful

Early evening,
Fever 102, deep burning cough, tickling in chest,
less headache while coughing but still distressing with sore chest,
no expectoration, glands much reduced, Tongue and teeth coated tasteless
Rolling eyeballs painful, Desire for warm drinks like tea, soup etc
Breathing laboured and slow causing anxiety, better lying left side,
better sitting leaning forward, worse lying on back,
chest feeling oppressed, opened window to let air in
Continued with Bell 30 every 4 hours

Awake at 1.30 AM, restless sleep, too much thoughts and ideas
Thirsty parched throat, had sips of warm water,
sweated in bed especially head and neck

Sun
Morning
Fever 98.8, deep burning cough, tickling in chest,
less headache while coughing but still distressing with sore chest,
no expectoration, Rolling eyeballs painful
Better respiration, Sleep was unrefreshing, finally got up at 10 AM, feel hungry
Urine has strange smell. Frontal Headache even when not coughing more over right eye and less over the left.

***Noon and Evening
Fever 102, deep burning cough, tickling in chest, cannot reach the mucus if it is there,
headache while coughing, distressing with sore chest, no expectoration, Rolling eyeballs painful. Difficult respiration,
Inhalation more difficult and faster than exhalation, as if someone is holding the lungs under pressure. Urine has strange smell, Pulsation across chest to the head, Warm drinks feel good.***

Mon
Same as Sunday no change.

Tue
Had 99 F fever. Took Tub 1M at 830 AM. No unusual reactions yet. Midday fever is 100F/38C.

No discharge from nose, normal stools, no other symptoms that I can think of.

I had flu also, but not such high fever. for the dry cough i took Nat Mur,l2x or 30,for the white coated tongue took 30x of Kal Mur.I take Fer.Phos for fever, but Bel. works well if other things fit. I also use a hot moist steamer(vaporisor) in bedroom when dry cough, never drink anything cold, only warm, honey/lemon mixture for sore throat, salt water gargle, If mucus Yellow I use Kali Sulp 30x. or 200 if you have it just take one dose at nite. If still fever, alternate the Bell or Fer.Phos. with other remedies. I happen to work well with l2 salts, info in Bio Chemic Handbook for $4.00 Keep up the liquids of all kinds, soups of all kinds are great.good luck.

GM: Thank you for the reply. With fear I have ordered the Tub. In my Pharmacy there are 8 Tub remedies. However after referring to Clarke I have ordered Tuberculin Koch. I am waiting for it. Is this correct?
Meanwhile can you kindly look into the updated description marked by ***. Thank you very much.

Dorothy: Thank you for your reply. I read Tub in Clarke and it seems to cover. Though I am scared of taking a 1M.

Yes, its correct.
NO OTHER REMEDIES TAKEN IN!

With fear, do you fear remedies?
You may have a prooving of the other remedies, tub wil take care of that too.
You should get a fever during sleep, ( usually, but you have it already, so perspiration should come after app three houers, if acting slow repeat the dose until perspiration comes) then heavy perspiration, next day it should be gone, allow the fever to reach 41 deg celsius, if need be, not over ( over that is dangerous, deadly , cant take it more than ten minutes), if over, then cool down with a bath, cold.

Tub must be given in a high potency. A lower potency is not sufficient to push the symptoms through. They could get "stuck" and actually make things worse. That is why always use Tuberculinum M or CM.

Two members of my family have taken tub for other ailments this autumn. Curiously, they did not get the flu, while the rest of us did.

GM, mamma3
Never before taken anything more than 30x. Rarely 200. Hence ... Wanted to use the word "trepidation" but changed it to fear.

I am still waiting to get the remedies. I will post on the results.

The temperature I gave was in Fahrenheit, 103 = 39.5 Celsius.

GM
When should I repeat the remedy and how many times? So far, after 5 hours, no unusual reaction.

GM says "if acting slow repeat the dose until perspiration comes".
The only change probably even before taking the Tub is the cough is loosening sometimes.
