My 4 1/2 year old son just started breaking out Sunday Monday and it looks like today too. He will be 5 in May. I would like to give him something to help him along. Also I would like to give something to my 7 1/2 year old who will be 8 in May. They say that the second one usually gets it worse. Is this true or myth? My 7 year old has been exposed many many times and has still not gotten it. Can I give sulphr? Being it is a skin thing? So if anyone could answer quickly I'd appreciate it. There isnt any fever as of yet and his temperment seems normal. He's eating fine also. In other words everthing seems completely normal so far execpt for the break out on his skin. If you could please let me know the dose and potency I will go get it at lunch time and run home and give it to him. (I live only 2 miles from my job. Makes it very easy for me. Thank God)

I know that GM in the past has recomended tuberculinum M or CM. I used the CM and it worked well. If you can't get it from your pharmacy, as it is contr-band in the U.S. email me, I will give you the name and # of a place that can overnight it. If the children have been vaccinated then you will have to give sulp 12x at least 4 hours prior to giving the tub.

The important thing with chicken pox is not to supress it. Fever is good. Tub is good for pushing it through.

As for the second child getting it the worst, that certainly was the case in my house. But if your 7 year old has no symtoms, I wouldn't treat. Perhaps he has the tiders (sp) for it.

Mamma3 thank you for such a quick response I will email you besides. But when you say vaccinated do you mean in general or specficly the chickenpox vaccine? I've also been giving hime eKIDnea plus with goldenseal (that is a kid formula product) and Kid B Well (also an herbal kid formula) Great Product.

Dear BRO,

TUB is a nosode and may not necessarily be the right remedy.
Other remedies that could be considered are :

Rhus Toxocodendron - Indicated for the intense itching when the child is restless both physically and mentally. The child is usually worse when cool or during sleep or rest and improved by motion and warm applications.

Antimonium Crudum - when the child is fretful and irritable worse after a bath or from heat and better when resting or in open air.

Sulfur - intense itching. thirsty; worse when bathed, warm and put to bed.

etc..

GM, I am a little confused...when you say:[quote]Originally posted by GM:
[b]No tuberculinum nere, what do you mean...dont give tuberculinum? And if you do want me to give that then what strenght and how much how often? As for the rest of the questions...am not COMPLETELY sure it is chicken pox...but I am not ruling it out until tomorrow...by then I think I'll be sure. In the mean time...nothing seems out of the ordinary. Other then the pimple like marks on his face (around his nose and mouth) and also right above his groin he has about 7 to 10 pimple like marks. They are red and have a white pussie like dot in the middle. He has not said that they are itchy...and I dont want to bring it up...as I dont want to put it in his head. They look more inflamed at night and better in the morning. No remedies given YET, he is up to date with all his vacination here in the states. (but he has never gotten the Chicken pox vacine) No medications and no diseases either. Just the herbs I mentioned early. echinaca with goldenseal (kid formula) and the kid be well tonic. When I get home from work I will look up the ingredents and email them. But for now....

pox use to be watery , vesicles, itchy, this could be a reaction to the herbal formula, better wait till tomorrow and see what it may be, give no more of that formula.

If the chicken pox is not bothering him then let it be. It is important that the natural immune system which temds to be suppressed these days from vaccinations gets to learn how to do its job. It is noticeable that children, when allowed to have a childhood disease without suppression have a growth spurt physically and mentally ( just ask their teacher) soon after the disease.

When itching is a problem I always prescribe Rhus Tox 30C, one dose and repeat only when needed. This usually does the trick. But it can be other remedies which is why you will have to let us know if there is a problem and how it affects him. Nothing should be given prophylactically

Well, my neighbor who has nine kids looked at the rash yesterday morning (all of hers have had chicken poxs) and she felt it looked like it too. Now at lunch time yesterday, my step-father (not knowing the situation and not knowing I had been on the BB about this) gave my son one dose of sulphr. His rash is almost gone. See right now here in New York, Chicken poxs is rampid in the schools and knowing also my children have never had it AND it looked like it, it seemed logical. But with inocents (my step-father) there was the cure. So......for now I will take this information that was given to me by all of you and keep it for the future should either of my boys get it. Though I wonder with my older one having been exposed soooo many times....I think I will get him a blood test and see about the tiders....my curiousity is overwhelming. Thank you all for your help. If I find out anything about the tiders I will post a new topic about it for everyones information. Thank you ALL again.

Sulphur is okay, but monitor the progress, usually it shall be better after three days, and dissapear after 7-14 days. if a reocurrance later than that its the herbs, sulp takes out that too, then give x200 one dose. Do not give herbs during this.
