Rhus Tox for the acute and also possibly a permanent cure as it deals with the herpes virus and chicken pox is a member of that group. Give a 30 and gauge the reaction. Repeat when needed. Take care not to give unnessarily aas I've know children become very hyperactive!!

From an E mail from Pat I have found out that the child took Rhus Tox the first 2 times she had the chicken pox. This denotes that a nosode is required, so please go ahead with GM's suggestion of Tubercullinum. What potency do you suggest GM?

As someone who has been working with GM quite extensively lately, I know he would say to give tub CM, one dose. BUT, if the child has been vaccinated, she must first take one dose of sulph 12x, at least 4 hours prior to tub. If you can't find the tub CM, email me, I know a lab that will send it.

Tuberculinum CM, pellets. One dose would be two pellets for a four year old. CM is a high dose, but neccesary. Too low potency only aggravates.

She has had Rhus Tox the previous two times. It obviously only suppressed. Tub CM will throw it out.

One must be very careful when prescribing for chicken pox. Just because it goes away quickly doesn't mean the patient has been cured, as in this little girl's case. Bringing about a fever is important.
