Can you please give some more info? Also, in particular, what other observations have your daughter and her homeopath made over this month...perhaps some aspects of her health are better? This may be a good thing, but cannot determine without a whole lot more information.

Hi. You do read a lot of this forum, yes? If so, you probably realize how much information is required in order to make a suggestion of homeopathic simillimum. From the super brief details you have provided, no assistance can be given...and, even the reaction to Puls cannot be adequately judged. In other words, Puls may indeed be an important remedy for your daughter, but cannot tell here.
The professional homeopath she is using is prescribing in a manner not clear to me. Why so many remedies in such a brief time?? That "trio" idea is not classical constitutional homeopathy. You may start off by decribing your daughter's pesonality, using specific examples to support anything you say....Also, talk about what she LOVES and HATES.... Also, say whether she is better by heat or cold....etcetcetcetc. Just start talking about her. Meanwhile: Look at Kent's "Lesser Writings" that you can link to from the reference resources here at this website. Once you get into that "book", click on the topic/chapter called "How to use the repertory". There he will tell you exactly how to take a homeopathic case. Print it out, study it, then apply it to your daughter....then post the info here. |

Hi - Just wanted to say something in relation to excema. Unfortunately it is very common to see months of excema getting worse after Homeopathic constitutionals. I have seen this over and over. It is not a cast iron rule but you have to consider it if after puls your daughters excema got worse. A month long worsening of excema is nothing I am afraid. Generally people cannot bear it to go on so long and will try and antidote the process. (who can blame them..)This is a field I have had a lot of experience in and I have seen people go as long as a year before a cure took place but a cure did finally come. Mind you this person was very strong mentally and determined.
Hope this doesn't discourage you! Take Care Govi ------------------ Govind http://homeopathyworld.cjb.net govi@homeopathyworld.cjb.net |

Info is being put together but these replies goes to show that so many Professional homeopaths out there in the marketplace are playing with people and time and its very sad
Just how is the layman to find a Classical Homeopath who really knows what they are doing |

Pat - when you try to find a Homeopath - ask them if they practise according to the Classical Laws and Prinicples set out by Hahnemann.
Single Remedy (as opposed to multiple) Single dose (to see what action takes place) The sign of a good Homeopath to me - embodies the above - but also a Homeopath's ABILITY to WAIT....and WAIT - until he/she sees what is transpiring from the given remedy. My Homeopath is straying from this - and this is why I am on this board seeking help for my daughter. Good luck and hang in there!! It really is worth it! |

Lisa - my sentiments exactly!! This is how I prescribe in the classical manner but I have seen a friend's child being prescribed 3 remedies in high potencies in one week by an ecletic homeopath and they wondered why nothing worked!!! When they went back she was given different remedies. Some were meant to be given so many times a week in conjunction with others once a week. I couldn't believe it!! However there are many ways of prescribing. The classical method works for me and my patients so until proved otherwise I'm sticking to it!
