A collegue has suffered a blow to the head (approx 10 days ago) which has left her with a perforated eardrum (consultant examined this and says there is 10% damage). She has no pain now,but has a strange sensation of hearing when around machines with low pitch humming - like computers etc.
Can any one suggest a useful remedy to help with the healing process. Thank you |

Thank you for your replies.
From the two remedies suggested here, can you give me some help to differentiate the two. Would you expect either to tackle the problem equally? Have you had any cases like this that have been sucessfully treated by either remedy? I look forward to your replies. |

I can not say, cause iv not been using Calendula, so i i dont know, had suxecess with Silicea.
I use the repertory, as a homeopat shall, when choosing a remedy, and calendula, is not represented at all in Kent,in ulcer on tympanum. And tympanum, is buildt up of silicea.... [This message has been edited by GM (edited 10 May 2000).] |

Thank you that's very interesting.
I'm a student and I did try to repertorise this and kali phos and silica came through. When you did this, did kali phos come up and if so how did you or would you separate the two? with thanks. |

As a critic to Cara,or the interpreter, user of Cara, tell me the difference between perforation, and a ulcer?
Would not perforation, describe a mechanical, forced penetration, done by a doc, a needle, or a instrument? Isnt repertorizing about understanding the rubric? Is not that called experinence? |
