My sister in law suffers from re-occuring depression, she is very anti drugs but I'm sure would accept alternative medicine to help. Her depression is getting more severe each time it occurs and the space between these episodes are getting smaller. She is now to the point where the doctors are insisting she stay in hospital during the worst parts of her depression. We are pretty certain of where the depression originates from, as she is unable to have children, which is one of her greatest desires. All her family have children and I don't think this helps. But if we are able to find a homeopathic medicine that will help with her depression, I'm sure that it will be a starting point as no doctor can pursuade her to take there medication. Please any ideas will be taken seriously as we are running out of ideas and desperately want her to get better

Thumbs down

Sepia could be of help, but this is for a pro to handle, as people without training, dont have the faitest idea about homeopathy, most seem to think is easy, as when a housemother treats a cut in a childs finger.
ITS NOT, IT REQUIRES TRAINING, AND PERSONAL FITNESS, AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE!
And the info given, is not sufficient at all. We need the patients own words about her problems, not a diagnosis done by ohters.

Please have your sister post her symptoms and history here in full detail. Check out Lavenders post on childs pneumonia to get an idea for what info is needed. Your sister needs constitutional treatment for this and yes homeopathy can help her. Good luck to you!

Please try to convince your sister to post her story here. GM has helped me begin to overcome depression due to obsessive compulsive disorder, as well as this weird disorder itself. She can also post him privately. Now I will share an old folk remedy, have your sister hold babies. Maybe she can learn to to theraputic touch on premie babies in the hospital. They will teach her. For some reason, may be hormones are released while cuddling, touching the infants, sometimes women conceive after holding them. (of course this is followed by another step involving something like holding the man)

Dabbling...dabblers utilize all, but there may be a backlash..many dont react that way. but the opposite way..and thats cause the dabbler cant find the remedy, if finding the remedy, this is not needed!

But, the dabblers live happily in the delusions, that this has helped, or that, and dont know any what really has helped..remedy or the touch???

But the dabbler dont care, cause he/she get reputation to be a goood homeopat, when in the reality he/she is a dabbler..all at homeopathys expence..

A few got help, by this, maybe..the rest..then? What about them?

They will belive its homeopathys fault, cause a dabbler has presented him/herself as a homeopat, calling this homeopathy?

Dabblers hurt homeopathy and patients, and all for delusions..delusions of homeopathy, money, fame, and grandeur!

On thinking it over, GM is right again. It's better to try one thing, in this case homeopathy. Then, when it's time to have the next baby, you won't waste time dabbling. You will know that the remedy worked. Sorry. Maybe she can hold the babies in the premie ward while she is pregnant, this way, she will get some experience, and the babies some love and tenderness. Ah....tenderness....dreams of such and such, and then, the feel of tender, the sound of tender; drifting up from the raggy dark...

Wink

In cases, wher iresolution is present, this works, but in cases where disease is the cause, it can reinforce the aversion, and the disese instead. And if it works, in a person who already has a problem that should be treated, she may be a child-abuser, or a person who leave her newborn on the staircaise or in a dustbin..somewhere..
Again, the the treads is so infiltrated in each other, that it demands experinece to tell what to do, as general advice, all good advice cant turn out bad, even if that was not intended..

Yes,I knew 2 women struggling to get pregnant unsuccessfully and they were averse to even holding or playing with other babies as it wasnt theirs. One of them adopted one eventually and the other one never had any and still had no desire to interact with any children.Probably too painful. LindaM.
