Question remedy is no longer active?

hello,

I wondered the other day whether a remedy I am taking might have become inactive. I know that they are delicate -- one hears all the time of the things one should not do with them -- electromagnetic fields, smells, heat, light.

Is there some way I can tell -- beside the effect -- if my low potency remedy has been rendered inactive?

many thanks,
ta yutl

Default waiting for an answer from those who know

I'm replying to my own thread ...
just a clarification, perhaps from an email this morning.

What I want to know is: is there some chance that this 'remedy' I'm taking is no longer an effective remedy? Is it just plain water with no potency at all? How does one tell?

One hears endlessly of the abundant ways in which one's remedy can be rendered invalid but no one ever speaks of those remedies in practice, of people taking those remedies. I don't understand this. Would there not be an equally large literature on how to tell whether a remedy has been stored next to something strong smelling, or possessing a strong electromagnetic field, or, or? doesn't make sense to me.

thanks for any help in clarifying this. I am taking a remedy which seems to have no effect though it putatively addresses symptoms I do have. (remedy is Notakehl / Pleo Not a sanum remedy; it's for congestion, fever, cough; I have congestion and fever occasionally)

My homeopath tells me that I shouldn't contaminate the pills by touching them. So I always just tip them into the lid of the bottle and then drop them into my mouth. So I guess that if I had touched the remedy it wouldn't work any more.
