Default post-operative remedies

Have just had (yesterday, Saturday) a small growth/cyst removed from under my eye. There is quite a lot of swelling which I'm sure the arnica will tackle, but I wondered what I should take for the stitches to heal. (Have taken arnica 30 - 3 before op and 4 after; and calendula 30 - 3 after op alternating with the arnica). Since it is just below my eyelid I am very keen for this to heal quickly without any scarring if poss!

any advice welcomed.

thanks

rosanna

CICATRICES - operation; after
graph.
Still further, you must remember the use of Graphites in the removal of cicatrices. This remedy seems to have the property of causing the absorption of cicatricial tissue. It was long ago noticed in workers in graphite, that wounds on the hands healed and the cicatrices disappeared very rapidly.Professor Korndoerfer greatly relieved a child's eye by the remedy. The child had been operated on, and cicatrices formed which contracted more than the surgeon expected they would. Graphites so far relieved the case that the parts assumed their normal position.

Default graphites for cicatrices

thankyou for that. At what point should I use it? And what dosage would you advise? (have 30c)
Should I continue to use calendula and arnica? The swelling is going down and the bruising is coming out now (dark red colour)

many thanks

Continue with Arnica till complete healing of the wound.
Use Graph only when needed 30c potency is sufficient.
Take about 100ml of distilled water or boiled cooled filtered water. Add to it one drop or one globule of the medicine. Shake till the globule is completely dissolved.
Take one spoonful out of it as a dose and add another one spoonful of water to the stock solution.
The theme behind is to maintain the stock to 100ml all the time.
By doing this the potency will be raised with every dose and repetition of the medicine will continue without any aggravation. The healing process will be accelerated.
You can do the same with Arnica and others with advantage.

thanks for the advice. When you say use graphites only when needed would you wait until the stitches have been removed? Kind of hard to say what is going on under the stitches at the moment. Or would you start now alongside the arnica?

When stitches are removed and the wound is completely healed then you can use Graph.
