Dear Jiggy
Nat Mur is one of the most powerfull remedies,using it for the indication you have listed is useless unless all your symptoms match nat m.
The increase of fluid in your system can be elliminated via an herbal tea called 'dandelion'.(not homeopathy)
Nat mur is most helpfull in chronic grief symptomology,loss of loved one,grief over family member..............etc
nat mur covers all miasms psoric,sycotic,syphlitic,tub..................
more on nat mur at ; www.homeoint.org
go to materia medica on line type in the name of any remedy(MM) on website listed

Dear Jiggy
Have you seen a homeopath yet. Its best to seek a constitutional prescription for all your symptoms for an overall wellness. Most often if you seek consult for only acutes it ends up just suppressing the ailment.
SEcondly a detox needs to happen;
to remove the damage from conventional meds (antibiotics,steriods,hormone pills,statins etc........)
To remove the damage from wrongfull dietary intake
(dairy,sugar,alcohol,gluten..................)

www.homeopathic.org
listed a directory of homeopaths for each state

Your symptoms seem to indicate a form of yeast/candida in your system were you taking antibiotics at some point?

www.simillimum.com
go to library; miasms-constitutional remedies..............great articles expl. miasms........................

Hi
Have seen homeopath and this is what has been prescribed. Had no antibiotics for ages or other medication. Only other thing might be the gluten but otherwise I eat healthy with fresh fruit, veg and very little alcohol.

How long does it take for a remedy to start kicking in on your symptoms? One dose, three doses, ten doses ec? And how do I know it's the right remedy for me? Does it just start working slowly on different elements of your symptoms one at a time?

Dear jiggy
If the symptoms have been chronic long term (anything lasting over one month) It takes aprox one month for each year you have had symptoms to reverse it.
When we speak of acute symptoms its one day to a few weeks ....no more.....this heals normally verry quickly. The more acute/intense the symptoms the faster the healing. Like in a pain caused by burning on the stove,one application of the well indicated remedy and the pain sybsides within seconds/minutes.
THe proper remedy needs to be given and the proper dose and the proper potency.THere are aprox over 50,000 possible combination options when it comes to a well prescribed prescription.

How do you know if its working?
A general wellness overall,better sleep,restfullness,calmness.
Sometimes there are aggravations before the symptoms get better.This is often a sign that the potency is too high.In chronic casework the symptoms should return in the reverse order you had them.

THen is "HErings LAw of CUre" Proper prescriptions need to follow the direction of cure. FRom within outward,from up-downward,from the most important organs to the lesser.

all of these questions are basic facts that all patients need to understand,homeopaths need to explain these to their patients,please ask your own homeopath ,dont understand why this was not explained to you.
www.homeopathic.com
great website for a starter FAQ,i think this should help............................

a more complex link;

the philosophy of healing,homeopathic science,prescribing..................

Thanks - the constipation thing has been going on for a couple of months and at the moment I just can't seem to go without taking something - no matter what I include in the diet i.e. veg, fibre, fruit and the bloating - well I've always seemed to bloat.

Feel tired today so is that a good sign from taking a remedy - it went from feeling at first tired, then good, then tired?
