Psora : - Itch is one of the main indicators of this miasm . This is the itch that travels along a nerve to reach the skin , not the reaction to some external irritation . Talking at great length but to little point is another sign of Psora . It will disturb function – the rupture , pulled muscle , sprains are all Psoric and show a disturbance of the elasticity of striped muscles and other fibres in the body [ i,e; disturbance of function ] Psoric people love sweet things and hate being challenged . Very dry scaly skin , eczema & dandruff are also in this group . Hahnemann related it to scrapie in sheep and leprosy .

Tubercular :- Triangular Face with a pointed chin , big eyes , long fine eyelashes and hair . Love travel and is easily bored. Loves meat and gravy. Wheeler-dealer type with charisma . Often has a “weak” chest . Auburn or reddish hair is often seen on these people . Tendency to suffer from varicose veins .

Sycotic :- Often suffers from warty eruptions . Is selfish and sometimes cunning . Catarrh of all kinds affect these people . Children with “snuffles” are often the offspring of sycotic parents . Always in a hurry to complete work or to get to a destination, there is never enough time . Bad memory falls into this group which is highly allergic and always has problems with inflammation. Can have premonitions that are correct . Some difficulty with spelling and long sentences . High uric acid .

Syphlitic :- Where Psora disturbs function , the syphilitc disturbs form . Significant deviations from the norm in height or weight . Difficulty in sight , due to shape of the eye – myopia . astigmatism etc :. This type is often able to exist with very little sleep – they are most active at night . Ulcers are common – these and other wounds heal with a thin brown “ tissue paper “ covering . Dull , obstinate with fixed ideas and a tendency to suicide . Can cure compulsive hand washing .

It must be understood that the above gives a framework with many points of reference . It is a thinking tool and not to be treated too literally .

The above are drawn from the oldest texts of the 19th cent and only one significant addition has been made in the late 20th cent . That addition is :-
CARCINOSIN
This nosode was developed and proved by Dr Donald Foubister [ Bsc MB, ChB, DCH ] from cancerous tissues .
Carcinosin appearance , blue sclerotics , moles and café-au-lait complexion . Loves music and dancing . Gentle and timid. Always check family history for any cancer indications .
