Hi Leela,
I'll ask Sheilagh next time I speak with her and I'll post back whatever I find out.

I suspect if it were released in such a cheap way so soon, everyone would be ordering via India and there would be very little return.

Edit to add:

I just double checked on Minerva and Sheilagh's book costs only £19.95 - far less than most homeopathic books.
Knowing Sheilagh, I'm sure she kept the price as low as possible to cover costs and make a modest return (she spent 10 years writing the book). Unlike many other authors...who charge exorbitant prices.

Sankaran's books, for instance, are very expensive. He has currently got a book (Sensation in Homeopathy) on offer in UK (via Minerva Books) for £44. That's not the normal price (£46) - it's a measly £2 discount.

HI Lisa,
I can understand that.

Well Sankaran's book, I think I bought at @$20 here. So that is a big difference. It isn't sold anywhere else, and postage abroad cost the same amoutn ($20). So it automaticlaly works out to about $40 for anyone buying it from aborad. Still much less than GPB44.
Priniting costs and quality of the paper and printing are what make a difference in the price locally.

MAybe a few years down the road...we may see an Indian edition. It would be very helpful for our students to read clinically oriented books.

I agree Leela.

I'm due to speak with Sheilagh soon - so I'll ask her then.

Dear Gina,

No, I'm afraid she doesn't.

Best wishes,
