Cool

Hello Anna,

Yes, this Miasm forum is very new. Actually I was discussing miasms with a friend thru e-mail. I thought that our discussion would prove more fruitful if more people participated in it. My friend, Alex suggested me about this BB. But I found that on the discussion forum this topic would die out soon and it needs a special area for itself. So I started this forum with assistance from people at Homeopathyhome. And I am happy the way its going.

I do have some personal interest in Miasms. They fascinate me, intrigue me, puzzle me and what not. I have been working on this theory for years now and have found as many views on them as there are homeopaths. This theory(actually hypothesis) still needs a lot of work to get a general acceptability. I hope this forum will assist in this purpose.

Here are some basic books on miasms:
1. Chronic Diseases - S. Hahnemann
2. Chronic Miasms - J. H. Allen
3. Lectures on Homeopathic Philosophy - Kent
4. Homeopathic Philosophy - H. A. Roberts
5. The genius of Homeopathy - Stuart Close
6. Chronic Miasms - S. K. Banerjea
7. Chronic Diseases - P. N. Baneerjee
8. Chronic Miasms - Harimohan Choudhary.
9. Chronic Miasms - R. P. Patel

There are many more texts available. All differ slightly. David little's site also offers some good information.

Hello Anna,
I donot have information on the edition of The Chronic Diseases that u have mentioned.

Yes! Miasms are a useful concept. The aim of this forum is to help make this hypothesis a theory. Try answering the questions in the thread by Alex. Enjoy

I have been to lots of lectures by Bannerjea and he is so amazing. He knows Boreicke off by heart. He will be discussing a remedy and will say "will someone turn to page ?? paragrapg ?? third line and start reading please".
I've heard his miasms lecture a couple of times and it is very good. I also have the booklet but didn't know you could buy it. It was given out in the lecture. In it he discusses what the fingernails look like in different miasms. I have a few of his booklets at home. I must remember to look at them again. He runs a college somewhere in England and does clinics.
