Hello Alb.

I already described the Calc.carb. remedy profile for you in the other thread.

Natrum carbonicum was proved by Dr. Hahnemann (and a few others) and this remedy is most suited for people who are very sensitive. They usually have an inability to assimilate things on both an emotional and a physical level. For example, there may be an emotional inability to tolerate music, hot weather, thunderstorms, noise and even other people. Physically, this inability to assimilate things might e.g. manifest as digestive problems. They tend to devote their lives to one person, sacrificing everything to this relationship. Prone to suppressing emotions, they tend to act cheerful even when sad, which compounds the mental strain, fatigue and irritability they often feel. People who respond to this remedy may find that mental stress or physical exercise when tired aggravates the symptoms.

Modalities : Worse from sitting, music, in the sun, from excessive summer heat, mental exertion and from thunderstorms, draught, changes of weather. Better by moving and by boring in ears or nose.

Relations : This remedy is similar to Calc. carb. (!), Natrum sulph. and Sepia.

Key uses for Nat. carb. are : colds, phlegm, depression, exhaustion, infertility, phobias, skin conditions and allergies.

Some important key symptoms are : devoted nature toward loved ones, suppression of emotions, weak ankles, sensitivity to sunlight and intolerance of milk, aversions to open air, intense dislike of exercise, great debility caused by summer heat, exhaustion from any effort, headache from slightest mental exertion.
