My daughter (20 years old) has been to a traditional doctor twice lately and they have found protein in her urine both times. They are referring her to a nephroligist for more extensive testing. I hesitate to follow this advice as she has chronic yeast problems, along with intermittent bladder infections, and I worry that they will just give her more antibiotics. I have become very hesitate to use traditional western medicine myself. Please advise what things could cause this and how it can be treated naturally. My opinion is that there must be some imbalance in her system causing this. Thank you for your help.

Testing is for diagnosis. After diagnosis we can predict the prognosis or the exact condition or seriouness of the disease etc.So testing Urea,Creatinine etc are good.Sometimes your case ia simple urinary infection or bladder infection.
what you meant by yease infection?the exact location? Is she pregnant?
