Unhappy

A friend of mine is in her 4th month of pregnancy, and is suffering very badly from morning sickness. She cannot eat anything at all most days although some days (maybe once or twice a week) she is ok. No particular foods set her off, seems to vary considerably. Vomiting alternating with Diarrhoea. Excessive thirst for cold drinks, but can only take sips as otherwise she is sick again. Feels weak and dizzy. Better for sitting, much better for lying down. Emotionally very well, moods more stable than normal. She is naturally an outgoing person, perfectionist that strives at work. I have tried her on Arsenicum 6c which she took on Sunday, she reported feeling hot and dizzy and had to lie down after taking it. I am thinking that maybe the arsenicum is wrong as she had no marked improvement, maybe try tabacum? Not really sure what to do from here. I am a first year student of homoeopathy.
Thanks!

hello,

please read Phos and Verat Alb.If your patient is very weak you can think later. The prominant symptom of Tabacum is nausea, intense nausea than vomitting.

Symphoricarpus is the common remedy for morning sickness. But in practise remedies like Psorinum,Medorrhinum.Cerium Ox,Sepia,Ant.crud,Apomprph etc are found very useful in many cases when indicated.

what is the name of your college?and name of the degree and duration of course?

with regards,
dr jayakumar pannakkal

A herbal remedy that works well without any side effects to the baby or mother is Ginger, take it as a tea as often as youy like, might also get it in capsules. Works also for motion sickness.
