Just a curious thought..
when you had the bone scan, was it a full body scan done at a clinic or was it one of the scans that are frequently offered at pharmacies that involve putting the heel into the machine for scanning?
The reason I ask, is that as my mother had osteoporosis and several femur breaks before she died, I thought I was in the high risk category, so I had one of these and it showed that I was (in my late 30's)in trouble.
I took the reading to my General Practitioner, who referred me for a full bone density scan at the hospital, where they scanned my hips, vertebrae and femurs and NO EVIDENCE of early onset osteoporosis.
I continue to walk for my weight bearing exercise, eat no dairy (haven't since I was a small child)- but eat lots of leafy greens & sesame seeds.
The Doctors said the heel scan doesn't give a reliable diagnosis & disputed the validity of scanning the heel, as it is the femur or vertebrae that fracture.
I think that the recommendations for the homeopathic remedies are good, as most over the counter calcium tablets are in the wrong combinations to be taken up efficiently by the metabolism.
