Question

I am 37 weeks pregnant and my due date is 23rd August 2000. The baby was in head down position from weeks 31 through 35 and during 36th week she turned to the breech position. My gynecologist suggested external version. Otherwise I may have to go for cesarean (c-section). I would like to avoid external version and cesarean as far as possible. Is there any method or medicine for helping the baby turn to the correct position as soon as possible.I am worried alot at the present situation. Please help me with possible homeopathic or other medical advise.

I am not a homeopath so I can not advise you, however, there was a recent thread concerning this situation. Check Archives. I will alert members, maybe a homeopath advise.

Pulsatilla 200C will normally turn the baby in a few hours. One dose. Only repeat if there has been no change in 24 hours.

I had the same problem many years ago and I will tell you what my non-homeopathic doctor had me do: get down on the floor on all fours, face to the ground, butt in the air. He had me do this for 15-20 minutes at a time, several times a day, for several days in a row. I can only guess as to the logic behind this but it worked and I had a normal vaginal delivery.

I have had some similar cases in my practice and they responded positively with the homeopathic remedy Caulophyllum 30C-twice daily. <BLOCKQUOTE>quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by hemanalini:

IMHO Caulophyllum is used to bring on the birth if it is late or slow not to turn the baby. I would therefore be interested in knowing more about your cases.

I studied in India a few years ago & Lycopodium 30C twice a day for 4 or 5 days at 34 to 36 weeks seemed to be successful in a large number of cases. Puls 200 in placenta praevia as well.

Thank you very much for your suggestion. I am going to complete my 38th week of pregnancy in two more days. Please advice whether I can use Pulsatilla200C now. Shall I have to change my food habits (in other words shall I have to avoid eating some thing during this period of medication). Also please let me know if there are any side effects.
