Yes, you have got it quite right, most Homoeopaths mistakenly believe every Psoric will have a Sulphur layer, which is simply not the case.
Regarding your question, I have successfully treated a great many cases of Psora without the use of Sulphur, where it simply was not indicated, I have also of course, treated a great many where it HAS been, and have given it accordingly. When it IS used though, it should always, in my opinion, be prescribed on totality/miasmatic basis/constitution, and not just routinely given to relieve any apparent suppression, or to 'move the case along', as is recommended by some Homoeopaths. Such things have no place in Homoeopathy, and are more akin to allopathy. Totality is the only way to prescribe remedies.
The REAL question though is has anyone actually managed to completely remove an ENTIRE Psoric taint, whether Sulphur has been given or not... I am sure some may think they have.
