Default Type two diabetes help

I am asking for some direction in narrowing possible remedies.

Person is 82 year male with type two diabetes for almost 25 years. Manages it quite well with blood testing and diet control as well as medication. Enjoys being mobile and tries to get out daily. Is on medication for high blood pressure, blood sugar control, heart medication, artifical sugar and now possible treatment for kidney compromise possible from diabetes.

Twice in past month has fainting, dizziness, vomiting and nausea requiring paramedics. Last episode required visit to hospital with gravol and saline fluid given and observation/tests. He had not eaten that day and became dehydrated. Tests observed reduced kidney function.

Lately, has been irritable, forgetful, confusion and weakness fatigue more so than usual. Shouts at family especially if they are trying to be helpful. Few times on outings, became confused and dizzy and got lost. Insists on going out despite possible danger to self. Deafness.
Becoming lax about diet control, possible frustration at not being able to enjoy foods. Eating inappropriate foods like two beers a day and fried chicken and salted fish. Salted fish resulted in swollen ankles. Says he should eat what he wants as he is going to die anyways.

Face is pale with sunken eyes, says he has thirst despite dehydration/ exhaustion episode, shoulders stooped, walks very slowly with right foot at slight bend, frame is very thin, emaciated.

Has had several instances where he had intestinal blockages that required hospital observation and three years back he required surgery.

Likes to get up at early hours ie 3 am and cook medicinal soups and other foods. Takes short naps throughout the day. Sleeps with head tilted back slightly, mouth open, snoring.

Possible remedy uranium nitricum.

Dear WF, Its kind that you ask out of concern for this 82yr old man but here is the fact,
Diabetes is most difficult to heal, specially with a stubborn patient that is NOT WILLING to stick to a simple dietary change, what is the point! Yes we see these type of people all the time,it is easier for they to go to an allopath take a shot/pill once a day and keep on abusing their body with too much fat,sugar,salts,alcohol.....etc. They are doomed, and they sadly have no desire to get well its much easier to keep on their path of destruction and complain all the time. If you are the caretaker and ask for homeopathic help that does not work THEY MUST BE THE ONE ASKING FOR HELP. Second point here is that homeopathy can help diabetes but the proper well indicated remedy must be taken this can be perhaps their constitutional remedy. And it takes some effort on the part of the patient once a remedy has been found after difficult casetaking (not here on line) The patient must detox himself, this only he/she can do.
My uncle is a perfect example of one of those stubborn people with diabetes. He knows i'm a homeopath,he has seen me work in clinics,he loves to complain about his diabetes, takes his little allopathic pill 3 times daily and eats loads of butter each day, loads of sugar in his coffee, drinks alcohol each night and does not ask me for help ,so i say nothing,it will only cause an argument,he is content complaining.

Thank you for your reply. I think its part of the disease talking as before that he was very disciplined and good about checking his blood and taking his medications. Before that he was kind, generous and had a nutty wackiness sense of humor that comes and goes now. I figure if he got a constutional remedy to kickstart everything then he can be back to mostly hiimself again.

I forgot to mention that he had bladder tumour that he treated via chinese herbs himself. It has been in remission for 12 years. Also had several bouts of bloody sediment in his urine with some stone blockages. Currently under control.

with Gina. There comes a time when people want to up and leave.

You could try either Sul Or Carcinosin single dose 10cm - but my thought is to follow Kent.s advice when he said " sit on your hands".
