Question Calendula for ulcers - dosage and frequency?

My husband has ulcers in his stomach and esophogus. I was reading how great calendula is for this, so I'm getting a tincture, to use in tea or other drinks (I read 5-15 drops per cup is good).

I was wondering how often this has to be used until the ulcers heal? Also, there's no worry about "proving" this, as it's a tincture used in tea and not the tablets, right? If proving is a concern, how often should this be used then?

Thanks in advance!

i have often prescribed tablets in low doses instead of using mothertincture with very good results and no aggravation or proving.. because low doses are very safe.. and as per mothertincture i would suggest 5-7 drops twice in a day, in 1/4th cup of water..

If Calendula is indicated, I recommend 10 drops thrice a day for my visiting patients.

BabyNameAddict,
There are other homeopathic remedies also for ulcers in stomach and esophogus. As in Homeopathy the totality of symptoms are more important to choose a remedy.

I think from one symptom its difficult to choose the proper remedy. So its better to consult a good Homeopath nearby for analysis of the whole case and take care of the progress time to time.

Calendula is equally effective in 30c and above. There are lot of medicines suitable for ulceration of stomach.Proper case taking is necessary for the selection of the suitable remedy.Uranium Nitricum is one of the remedy for stomach ulceration.
