Question Is merc. bad?

My husband has a sinus infection and I thought merc. would be good. But since it's mercury, he doesn't want to take it (it doesn't help that he's a skeptic). Is mercury, in this forum harmful? Any links I can pass on to him to help convince him it's okay to take?

Thanks in advance.

Default Homeopathic Medicines are Safe

In addition to Mercury, there are a number of homeopathic medicines made from different organic and inorganic poisons. None is harmful in homeopathic form. However, the medicine must be chosen correctly to have a positive effect. Mercury or any other medicine will help only if the symptoms match.

Yes, but this is a heavy metal. Wouldn't it be different?

Default Don't worry

Metals are solvable neither in water nor alcohol. They are converted to homeopathic potencies through a different process. Whether a metal is heavy or not, is immaterial. As I wrote earlier, they are safe in homeopathic form. This is one of the many beauties of homeopathy.

I have already written a small paragraph on this topic in FAQs page of my website. You might like to have a look at that. I could have posted a direct link to that but I don't know whether it is allowed here or nor. So I am just mentioning it.

Go ahead if Merc is otherwise indicated according to the symptoms. You must be sure of this otherwise the medicine will have no effect.

Good Luck!

Its better to consult a good Homeopath before taking remedies on ur own,I dont know about your knowledge in Homeopathy if u have sufficient knowledge and experience u can convince your husband about the Homeopathic remedies.Mercury as Homeopathic remedy is not harmful and if the totality of symptoms matches with it.Crude Mercury is harmful no doubt,so if you know preparation of homeopathic remedies ,u can expalin him which may convince him or else contact with a Homeoapth to study his symptoms and find out the proper remedy for him. Hope to see the progress and recovery.
Best wishes.
